Chen Wei

Chen Wei is a contemporary Chinese artist known for his multimedia installations and photography that explore themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time. He was born in 1980 in Hangzhou, China, and graduated from the China Academy of Art. Wei's work often incorporates elements of performance and video, creating immersive experiences that challenge viewers' perceptions of reality. He has exhibited widely in China and internationally, with notable exhibitions at the 2014 Venice Biennale and the 2016 Shanghai Biennale.
