ÉTienne-Martin

Étienne-Martin was a French sculptor born in 1922 in the region of Brittany. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and became known for his abstract sculptures that often incorporated natural forms and materials. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of space and form, and he was associated with the post-war avant-garde movement in France. Martin's sculptures have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, and he is considered a significant figure in contemporary sculpture until his passing in 2005.
