How Art Museum

HOW Art Museum is a cultural institution dedicated to the collection, presentation, research, and education of contemporary art. Located in Pudong, Shanghai, it comprises three floors of exhibition and event spaces with a total area of approximately 7,000 square metres, and officially opened to the public in September 2017.

Situated in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, the museum fully engages with its local context, encouraging audiences to visit exhibitions in their leisure time after work, and thereby contributing to the creation of a new integrated art complex and a cultural landmark in Pudong. Through sustained and in-depth collaboration with artists, art institutions, and art initiatives from China and abroad, HOW Art Museum presents high-quality international contemporary art exhibitions, builds an international platform for exchange and display, and promotes the flourishing development of Chinese contemporary art within a global context, as well as dialogue and collaboration between Eastern and Western contemporary art.
