Wang Yizhou: THE QUIET SUBLIME

“THE QUITE SUBLIME” presents the creative trajectory of artist Wang Yizhou over more than three decades, from the 1990s to 2026. Spanning his early explorations before 2000, the mid-period Lotus series, and the continuously developed High Mountains · Long Rivers series after 2010, the exhibition brings together more than 70 works, including oil paintings, ink works on paper, installations, video works, mixed-media pieces, and related archival documents. The artist internalizes the philosophical thinking of the I Ching and Daoism into a visual language, completing a transformation from the depiction of external forms to the condensation of spirit, and forming the minimalist artistic style that has run throughout his life’s work.
