Three Shadows +3 Gallery

Three Shadows +3 Gallery is an art space operated by the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, founded in April 2012. Dedicated to promoting cultural exchange between China and the wider international art world through the medium of photography, +3 Gallery primarily focuses on introducing some of China’s most representative and promising photographic artists and their works, while also presenting outstanding works by important international photographers on a planned basis.

This year, the gallery will present works by eight artists from China, Japan, and South Korea: Wang Wusheng, RongRong & inri, Zhang Kechun, No. 223 (Lin Zhipeng), Lahem, Xiang Sun, Koo Bohnchang, and Hisaji Hara. With photography and image-based art as its core media, the presentation explores and unfolds multiple visual inquiries around themes such as memory, bodily experience, and regional culture.
