Liu Shuwei

Artist Liu Shuwei’s solo booth Moonlight Drive is presented by DAZED China, with support from the PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai Patrons Club. DAZED China focuses on music, fashion, art, social issues, film, and digital culture. It is dedicated to discovering local young creatives and building a space for exchange that connects China’s creative community with global culture.

Booth Highlights:

Across 10 photographic and installation works, there are inner landscapes captured, loving gazes directed towards friends, as well as recording and translations of subculture scenes——all woven into a single “Moonlight Drive”. Through installations, the artist transforms niches into drawers of light and memory—images residing on different materials are penetrated by light and layered through shifting distances. It suggests how the past coexists with the present, and how time flows through us.
