Third Street Gallery

Third Street Gallery was founded in November 2023 and is located in the OCAT Sunken Plaza on Qufu Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai. Co-run by artist Yuan Zhongyu and curator Nico Gai Yanni, it operates as an artist-run space dedicated to contemporary artistic practices. Treating the “gallery” itself as a readymade material, Third Street emphasizes exhibitions as “perceptible situations” rather than mere displays of artworks. The space functions both as a site for artistic experimentation and dialogue, and as a platform for emerging artists working across disciplines and cultural contexts.
